Urbančič Izidor
Izidor Urbančič was born on 4 April 1925 in Ljubljana. In 1947 he began his studies at the Ljubljana Academy of Fine Arts, from where he graduated in 1951. In 1953 he concluded his post-graduate studies of painting in the class of professor Gabrijel Stupica. As part of his studies, he travelled to France (1955) and Italy (1956). He taught art in Zagorje ob Savi, Polje pri Ljubljani and ŠCBP Secondary School of Design in Ljubljana. He participated in several painting and sculpture workshops in Slovenia nad abroad. Apart from painting, his interest areas are sculpture and graphic art. Izidor Urbančič died in 2000.
