Ana Razpotnik Donati, after completing Secondary Schoolfor Design and Photography, fi nished the Faculty ofPedagogy in Ljubljana, in the subject Art Teaching. She laterattended the Municipal School of Painting and Drawing.Today, she lives and works in Perugia in Italy. Since 1999,she has published illustrations in children's magazines,prepared sets for puppet shows for the children's theatreGnomi in Perugia and illustrated picture books. She hasparticipated three times at the Biennale of Illustration inLjubljana and twice at Mostra internazionale d'illustrazioneper l'infanzia di Sarmede in Italy, and exhibited in Perugiaand Klagenfurt, as well as Slovenia. Three of her picturebooks have been nominated at the competition forOriginal Slovenian Picture Book 2009 and one of themreceived the prize for the best designed Slovenian book of2009.
