Jesih Boris

Boris Jesih was born in 1943 in Škofja Loka. He graduated from painting by M. Sedej and Z. Didek in 1966 at Academy for fine Arts in Ljubljana. He studied printmaking in Berlin. He had 11 solo exhibitions and cooperated with many other artists in Slovenia and abroad. He received 16 awards, including Jakopič reward in the year 1980. He lives and works in Ljubljana. He is a professor of painting, drawing and print at the Faculty of Education in Ljubljana.
