Jazvić Paulina
Paulina Jazvić was born in 1973 in Zagreb, graduated graphics from the Academy of the Fine Arts of Zagreb in 2001 in the class of Professor Miroslav Šutej. In her installations fashioned from various materials and found objects she points out the element of collecting. By the author's intervention the objects of everyday use are transferred to the domain of art, thus creating a new atmosphere full of strong coloristic charge and taking on a new meaning contrary to stereotypes. The artist is a winner of a series of prizes: 1994 Cristal Label, TTF Zagreb; Smirnoff International Fashion Award, Zagreb; and Grand Prix Golden Line, Opatija; 1999. Prize of Triennial of drawings of the Fine Arts Academy; and in 2000 Dean's Award, Zagreb.
