Gregorčič Milena
Milena Gregorčič was born in Ljubljana, Slovenia, on April 14, 1952. She studied at the Secondary School of Design in Ljubljana and completed the course in graphic art. She then enrolled at the Department of Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana, where she studied with Professors Bogdan Borčić, Zoran Didek, Nikolaj Omersa, Janez Bernik, Andrej Jemec and Milan Butina, and graduated in 1976. While studying painting, she engaged in additional training in design by working with Professor Suhadolc at the MSSV Studio (Mächtig/Suhadolc/Skalar/Vipotnik). She then completed a master class in graphic art with Professors Marjan Pogačnik and Apolonijo Zvest and received her master's degree in 1978. She has been employed with the Slovene Railways, where she works on the corporate identity design, since 1979. In addition to her extensive in-house creative work, she has made a name for herself as a painter, graphic artist, and designer. She has exhibited at numerous independent and group exhibitions in Slovenia and abroad. Milena Gregorčič lives and works in Ljubljana.
