Rajko Čuber was born on 17th of May 1957 in Brestanica. Following a successful graduation of Brestanica Primary School he continued his education in Ljubljana where he attended the Design Secondary School. In 1982 he graduated from the Ljubljana Art Academy and continued his education with a specialized study of graphics under the mentorship of professor Bogdan Borčić. In 1981 he received the Prešeren Student Award. He lives as an independent painter in Brestanica.
